Andy Dewantoro
(b. 1973)
Andy Dewantoro is a contemporary artist based in Indonesia whose practice encompasses painting,
photography, sculpture, and printmaking. His background in interior design and architecture profoundly
influenced his artistic works that often depict a mixture of urban elements and natural environment. Through
voids, landscapes, and weathered architectural structures, his works delve into space, absence, and the quiet
imprint of time.
Dewantoro received his Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the Faculty of Art and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology in 2000.
