Nguyễn Thế Sơn
Living and working in Hanoi, Nguyễn Thế Sơn(b.1978, Vietnam) is a visual artist, a photographer,curator and a professor of Vietnam University ofFine Arts. Nguyễn Thế Sơn graduated from (BA)Fine Arts in Hanoi University of Fine Arts, graduatedfrom University of Languages and InternationalStudies and graduated with a Master of Fine ArtsPhotography and Experimental Arts at the ChinaCentral Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA).His works are often influenced by sociologicalresearch, questioning and reflecting on the brokenand disappearance of humanity’s memories andvalues in the process of changing and conflict ofVietnamese values during the changing period. Sonhas more than 20 solo exhibitions and lots of groupexhibitions in Vietnam and many countries aroundthe world.
