His solo exhibitions include “Stories Left Untold” atthe Fête de l’Humanité, Paris, France (2016), and“Letter To The Lost One” at MES 56, Yogyakarta(2017). In the past five years, he did a residencyat ACC, Gwangju, South Korea (2018) andnumerous exhibition at Jimei X Arles InternationalPhoto Festival, China (2017), Song Eun Art Space,Seoul (2017), ACC, Gwangju, South Korea (2018& 2019), Organhaus, Chongqing, China (2018),Medo Art & Mondial Research EU, Vienna, Austria(2018), BARRAK Gallery, Okinawa, Japan (2019),Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto, Japan(2021), and Iwaya Community Art Biennial, Lagos,Nigeria (2021) among others.
He graduated from the Photography Department, Indonesian Institute of the Arts. In 2002, he co-founded Ruang MES 56, and in 2015 became a member of 1965 Setiap Hari – a transnationalresearch and relay collective working with socialmedia in Indonesia.
