Stemming from Aulia Yeru’s interest in the production of a space, which can be put in: “humans build space and space build humans”, he challenges himself on grasping the spatial change by applying a structured method to each of the materials. Aulia entwines the artistic and scientific explorations within his practice, consistently repeating the routine to fixate the variables, offering an alternative to producing and distributing knowledge.
Aulia Yeru (b. 1988) finishes his master’s degree from the Institute of Technology, Bandung, taking Fine Art as his major. Currently works as a lecturer for Telkom University, Aulia maintains his artistic practice by continuously experimenting with methods, which currently focuses on environmental issues. Aulia has exhibited his works around Jakarta, Bandung, and Jogjakarta.
